WEST HILL is our next fixture, TUESDAY, October 24, before we end this year’s fixtures at the Christmas Scramble at The Berkshire on Monday, November 13.
Like so many of the great golf courses played during the year, West Hill is exceptional and it is also the last chance to improve your position in the “Order of Merit” in the bid to become “Golfer of the Year”.
The course is one of Surrey’s oldest golfing gems that is consistently featured in the top 100 golf course listings.
This stunning heathland course, designed in 1907, is lined with towering Scots pines with “The brook of Brookwood” meandering its way through the course, coming into play on six different holes.
Once you reach the greens you then face some of the most challenging natural undulations you could ever play in a wonderful test of your golf.
If this is not enough to tempt you, the £65 cost remains the same as last year and not only includes the green fee but a bacon roll with tea or coffee before play, a 3-course carvery lunch, Champagne for “Nearest the Pin” plus prizes.
There is a £110 roll over in the “Back the Winner” competition from both Walton Heath and Tandridge, so it is very likely there will be a record balance to be won . Select yourself or the player you think could win the main trophy for £5 and have as many attempts as you like.
We are limited to the number of players at West Hill and with a good turnout expected, get your booking confirmed early to avoid disappointment.
