Twenty of Northcliffe’s finest headed to Moor Park in Hertfordshire for a memorable day of golf across its two beautiful courses.

The morning individual competition on the High Course proved a tightly fought affair, with NGS Treasurer Will Flint edging Barry Theobald by a single shot to take the honours, while Craig Fawcett finished just one shot further back.

And Will proved his morning victory was no flash in the pan. He was back among the winners on the West Course in the afternoon, teaming up with Craig, Joe Marvell and guest Stephen Doughty to claim the Team Texas Scramble.

After 36 holes in glorious sunshine, weary golfers retired to Moor Park’s stunning terrace for some very welcome cold beers, raising a glass to organiser John Tucker for another fantastic NGS day out.
