Northcliffe Golfing Society (1910)

Tandridge Golf Club is widely regarded as the jewel in the crown of Surrey courses and demand for places will be high for our next golf fixture.

With spectacular views of the Surrey North Downs and the Kent and Sussex countryside on this Harry Colt design course, there are now well over 100 bunkers to negotiate, making it a formidable test of keeping the ball in play.

Apart from the course with the wonderful scenic holes on the back nine, the “Tandridge carvery lunch” is renown for home made food, including a mouth-watering “Tandridge Pudding” amongst a wide variety of desserts.

The price for full members is £95 which is subsidized from Society funds by £35 for 2-rounds, bacon rolls to start the day, a full carvery lunch with home-made desserts with sandwiches and chips at the end of play. The cost for Associate members is £110 and guests £130.

The morning competition will be singles stableford off yellow tees for The Caird Cup and after lunch there will be a 9 x hole Texas Scramble and those wanting to carry on playing the full 18 holes can do so. Champagne for Nearest the Pin can be won on the 15th.

Individual scorecards from the morning competition need to be handed in at lunchtime. Make sure you put BOTH your WHS club handicap on the card that you sign AND the Club’s slope chart’s handicap rating which will be on display.

Sign up for the fund raising “Back the Winner” Competition at £5 a pick and this can be added to the cost of the day or separately.

All payments must be paid direct to the Society’s Bank Account with no cash payments on the day.

The Society Bank details are: Lloyds Bank, Sort code 30-92-45, Account no. 01571241
